 XIX GOLDEN KNIGHT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. Press release
We are glad to inform you that the XIX Golden Knight International Film Festival will take place in Moscow on May 26 – June 3 2010.
The Festival is patronized by the Patriarch of All Russia Kirill; Alexander Avdeev, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation; Nikita Mikhalkov, Chairman of the Russian Filmmakers Union.
The motto of the Festival is For Moral Christian Values. For Elevation of the Human Soul. Some 200 Russian and foreign filmmakers will take part in the event. The Festival competition program includes 7 nominations: full length feature films, TV feature films, films for children, full length documentary films, short documentary films, debut and student films, animated cartoons.
In each category the jury awards Golden, Silver and Bronze Knights. The jury chairs and the Festival’s President Nikolay Burlyaev also award Grand Prix to the best film of the Festival in any category.
The deadline to receive the application forms with preview CDs and all the materials for the catalogue included is April 10 2010.
